Our Story
Mississippi Life University (MLU) is a private, Christian, faith-based university and seminary located in Columbus, Mississippi. Founded in 2022, MLU is committed to equipping students through quality Christian education rooted in Scripture.
Our mission is to train, teach, and mentor individuals in the Kingdom of God, serving as a trusted Resource for Life. We believe Christian education should be both accessible and practical—not limited to clergy and preachers. As a non-denominational, nonprofit institution, MLU welcomes students from all backgrounds who are seeking truth and spiritual growth.
We teach solely from Scripture, independent of any denominational affiliation. At MLU, we pursue truth, live purposefully, and prepare the next generation to lead with faith.

Certificate Programs
Our certificate programs provide focused training in specific areas of ministry or biblical study. These short-term, flexible programs are ideal for individuals seeking to deepen their knowledge without committing to a full degree program.
Associate of Arts (AA)
The Associate of Arts degree offers a solid foundation in biblical studies and general education. Students develop essential skills in theology, ministry, and communication while preparing for further academic work or direct entry into ministry roles.
Bachelor of Arts (BA)
The Bachelor of Arts program builds upon the associate degree with advanced biblical, theological, and ministry courses. Students are equipped to teach, preach, lead, and serve effectively in diverse ministry settings.
Master of Arts (MA)
Our graduate-level Master of Arts programs are designed for Pastoral Clinical Counseling and Urban Ministry leaders, educators, and professionals who seek deeper theological insight and advanced ministry training. The courses emphasize research, critical thinking, and the practical application of biblical truth
Chaplaincy Training
Mississippi Life University offers specialized training for chaplaincy in military, healthcare, correctional, and community settings. This program blends biblical instruction with practical counseling, crisis response, and pastoral care skills.
